SYNOPSIS:
On an Italian hillside road in the province of Romagna during WW II, a young farmer finds himself suddenly in contact with two German and two American soldiers. It seems that it all would come down to a firearms fight and the youth feels lost, but the arrival of a spy plane forces them all to hide themselves in the grass. Years later the same farmer would so recount to his grandson about his first and last day of war, although hiding a painful truth.
