SYNOPSIS:
Sister Butterfly has escaped to Paradise Island located in the deep wetlands and becomes the teacher at a village school, with the support of the Chief of Paradise Island Village. The old Chief not only sends and fetches students on his torn canoe everyday but also heads to the deep wetland to feed rare red-crowned cranes. Impressed by his devotion to the cranes, Sister Butterfly and the students compose “The Ballad of the Crane”. The song is entered in a contest and it wins the first prize, which enables him to buy a new boat.
