SYNOPSIS:
This Chinese opera takes place in the Spring and Autumn periods when China is warring within their States. The King of Jin Kingdom is wicked, and with his favorite and trusted subject Tuangu, they slaughter Zhao’s family. But as the story unfolds, we find that sixteen years later, the baby boy was not killed, and he is reunited with his mother who has been in prison for sixteen years.
