SYNOPSIS: Silent Film was never watched in silence.  This short film describes the evolution of fotoplayers, live sound effects, pianos, Wurlitzer organs, small bands and full orchestras that accompanied the screening of silent films from 1895-1927. Through expert interviews, vintage footage, rare photos and re-enactments, the viewers will become a part of the “silent era.”
